Description of research project
Human-wildlife-conflicts are increasing while natural resources are declining in regions were humans and megafauna still coexists. I will incorporate cutting-edge satellite imagery and geographic information system analysis to assess the historical, current and future habitat dynamics. New methods can provide some obvious advantages such as gaining data of extremely high quality, and minimizing the need for time consuming field work.
